This very rare and beautiful Majolica Butter Dish with it's original Lid is from the late 1800's and is unmarked. The pattern is Berry Blossoms on Basket weave and has beautiful turquoise, green, yellow, maroon and brown colors. The bottom measures 7 3/4" in diameter and is 1 3/8" deep. The lid measures 3" high and is 5 1/2" in diameter. Both pieces are in very good condition.
